What is PredictX?
PredictX is a decentralized prediction market platform where you can trade on the outcome of real-world events. You bet YES or NO using USDT, and if your prediction is correct, you receive a payout.
Prices are determined by an Automated Market Maker (AMM) — the more people betting YES, the higher the YES price. You can also sell your position before settlement.
How Markets Work
Market Opens: An admin or AI creates a market with a YES/NO question, e.g. "Will BTC exceed $100,000 by Dec 31?"
Trading Period: Users trade YES or NO shares. Prices move from $0 to $1 based on AMM pricing.
Market Closes: Trading stops at the configured end time.
Oracle Resolution: Our oracle fetches real-world data and resolves the market YES or NO.
Payout: Winners receive their proportional share of the losing pool. Payouts are automatic.
AMM Pricing
PredictX uses a Constant Product AMM (x × y = k):
Price (YES) = NO_liquidity / (YES_liquidity + NO_liquidity)
Price (NO) = YES_liquidity / (YES_liquidity + NO_liquidity)
Prices always sum to 1.0 USDT. A YES price of 0.70 implies a 70% market-implied probability of YES.
